Sign the Petition Against HHS Regulation (aside)

Sign the Petition Against HHS Regulation (aside).

Yet again my Catholic blogging brother and friend sent this out on his page, which by the way is http://cinhosa.wordpress.com and if you are not already following him you are missing out big time!!! He has an obvious and personal devotion to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Either way please do check out this petition;  it takes less than 5 minutes to set up an account and your feedback goes directly to the White House.  You also have the option to be updated on other issues by the President (I passed that option up personally for now).

But in one way getting his (Obama’s) “propaganda” can be helpful in understanding how this White House operates and I believe you can always change your mind on that part.  The big thing is to get this petition full of valid signatures.  So please do so! God bless.

  2. I was finally able to sign the petition. Unfortunately, the process was very aggravating and I nearly gave up in frustration…..perhaps the White House intentionally set it up that way.

    • That could be, Robert, I assume you mean the HHS petition from my other posting. Several others stated that they had the same problem. Not sure why I didn’t. But glad you signed! We can make a difference. God bless.

  3. This HHS is outrageous!! A clear violation of the separation of State/religion…and a “slap-in-the face’ to all religious people who hold life as sacred..not just the Catholics!

  4. HHS is outrageous! It offends not only Catholics but any religion/people who hold life as sacred!

  5. Even if I sign petition, it won’t affect me. I am unemployed and have to pay for insurance out of pocket. I requested abortion and birth control procedures removed from coverage options and that is not possible. Even if policy is ultimately reversed, it still won’t protect the private individual.

    • L ROY–I am wondering why the HHS petition does not matter unless it “affects you?” It affects many people you love and care about, and it sets a precedent that will indeed affect us all in the future. It is called liberty. Please reconsider.

    • Oh yes I had not seen this article but Marc Barnes the ‘Bad Catholic” writes like a religious version of Stephen King but with more humor. He is good stuff. He has also sent a ton of folks in my direction too. As to the issue of contraception, of course it all goes beyond that, in that some contraceptives are also abortofacients. That is the bigger issue, as well as the religious liberty for all, including Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Muslim, or even athiest for that matter. Making decisions that affect liberty is the gravest concern. But even many Protestants are thinking twice about the Pill these days. And should in my view. Thanks for the link. God bless!
